Los Cristianos is located in the municipality of Arona and, framed between two protected natural sites such as the Montaña de Chayofita and the Montaña de Guaza, it opens to the sea through the Los Cristianos bay. Close to another tourist area such as the Playa de Las Américas, Los Cristianos has undergone a strong urban expansion around its port and beach from the tourist boom that emerged in the 1970s and remains until today. It has two golden sand beaches, numerous bars and restaurants, and a great lodging offer that includes apartments and hotels of all categories.

In Los Cristianos there are two important beaches on the island of Tenerife: The main beach (Playa de Los Cristianos) is a sandy beach sheltered by the port that has showers, water and beach sports area, playground for children, services and changing rooms and good access. The other is Las Vistas Beach, which is located in a bay closer to the port. It is an artificial beach of fine white sand protected by a breakwater that also has facilities similar to the previous one.
