Departure from Puerto de la Cruz heading for Icod de los Vinos, where the well-known and legendary thousand-year-old Dragon Tree stands. We continue towards the Garachico vantage point to enjoy a superb view over this village that was devastated by the eruption of the Arenas Negras volcano in 1706. From this point we head for the summits of Erjos towards Santiago del Teide. Then, we shall descend to the Masca hamlet (600-700 m above sea level) and have some time on our own to visit the village. Next, we continue to Garachico, former commercial empire during the 16th and 17th centuries, a town with typical Canarian style architecture which makes it very interesting. Free time for lunch (optional). Return tto Puerto de la Cruz.
